John Vincent was born on 16th December 1924.  His marriage to Enid P. Simpson is registered during the September Quarter 1948 under the Westminster Registration District.  Prior to his death he was stationed at RAF Ballykelly in Northern Ireland.

The inscription on the memorial reads:
